Here are some Testimonials regarding the customer service, or lack thereof, from Paranormal Electronics Limited. Since Trustpilot is owned by John Tanner (he admitted this on a livestream show in 2021). Amusingly the company has a rating of POOR on a consumer review website owned by the company owner himself.
I have contacted Trustpilot about this. They finally responded but did not seem concerned their company name was being exploited by this fraud. I'm not aware if they pursued this matter any further.
I can tell you, from personal experience, that there are over forty disappointed customers that were participating in an email thread Mr. Tanner accidentally shared with everyone back in 2020. Some of their experiences have been included below for your consideration. In 2022 I have learned that this company continues to be a problem for consumers.

I finally received part of our order 610. We had ordered a paraportal, spirit boc and speaker back on August 24, 2020. I had a lot of back and forth with their office person, I forget her name, who lied to John and "the board" that I wanted a partial refund. I had already demanded a full refund at least 4 times. I, by chance, caught John on Facebook messenger (at least I think it was John, he never said it was but seemed to have the power to do things so I think it was) and explained my situation. He agreed to refunding the paraportal but stood firm on the spirit box (claming I should know what "pre-order" meant and that it should somehow be reasonable to wait 6 months for something I could have gotten from the US in a week!).
Anyways, at that time he assured me the order was on the way to them and I would then get it about a week later, before the end of January, otherwise he would make it right. To make it right, if the spirit box wasn't received in the UK by January 20? he would order me a spirit boc from ghoststop in the US and have them ship it direct.
Well, I ended up getting the spirit box, but no speaker because, according to John the speaker on the new SB-7T is supposed to be better. I've heard it isn't and I don't think it is but seriously, whatever, I told them in January that a new version of the SB-7 had come out. He didn't even know from his reply. The speaker, they ended up refunding that about a week or so later after I asked for a refund.
In total, from order day to completion of the partial order was about 5.5 months.
I was trying to throw them some business because I kept hearing how great they were. But seriously? They had 3-4 times in email/live/chat to tell me the spirit box would be horribly delayed and shouldn't even be selling them like they are to the US and Canada.
It's a very poor system of taking an order from Canada, placing the order with a company in the US, having that US company ship the item to the UK then ship it to Canada? Why wouldn't you just arrange with the company in the US to ship direct on your behalf to US / Canada customers?
Even in my case the paraportal needed the spirit box, but they were still ordered separately and would have been two separate items. It seems like you want to make the customer wait an extra 2-3 weeks for an item? I could have received the spirit box and speaker back in September at the latest if they had direct ship arrangements for US and Canadian customers.
Overall, not satisfied. I have dropped them on all social media and will never order from Paranormal Electronics Ltd (UK, whatever) again.

UPDATE: I finally got to test it out in April and it's got problems with it. It is making a pulsing sound and the battery meter, on the display, flickers in time with the sound. So obviously it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. Basically, I'm out about $100 Canadian thanks to this dishonest "company".
Be very wary there is now a North American affiliate to this scam. It's called Paranormal Electronics NA. Which is interesting because when I said Paranormal Elcetronics UK whoever was responding to my emails (John, whoever) freaked out about that name. They insisted that Paranormal Electronics UK was a different company and that they must be called Paranormal Electronics Limited. Their website address is Paranormal Electronics. Co. Uk FFS! See the attached, I've already blocked this affiliate on Facebook and Instagram. This is a virus company that needs to be blocked, affiliates and all.

Hello peeps, well I also fell to the scam. I bought an SLS took 4 months to get and when it finally came in, didn't work. So I decided I'm not sending it back for repairs cause I'm afraid I won't get it back.Ive decided to try and fix it myself as I build some of my paranormal equipment myself. I also tried contacting them which, well you know no response from them at all. They are a joke and should be put out of business. This is the short story as I'm at work and don't have time for a detailed statement. So anyway sorry for my vent, but I've kept my mouth shut for to long.

I bought SLS camera last September with tablet. Recieved it last december week of xmas. Put it on and found the tablet would not charge or hold power. I complained and they said send it back by DHL and they will send me new one.
Phoned 25 times, constant emails up to April kept getting same lies. We are expecting new laptops in next week. You will get one as soon as they arrive.
Nothing came, no one helped. They got to the point they would not answer the phone.
So I complained to Ombudsman and they say I have to take him to small claims court for item. I pay the court, and get not even the money back that covers the court costs.
And Mr Tanner allowed to carry on scamming everyone.
I went into google reported every comment review as Bullshit because all reviews are made up of people I spoke with on phone, Mrs Tanner, Emma, Ruth etc.
I was at a point of driving to Swansea, finding his business and burning it to the ground and bringing friends with me to give him a hiding.
But then I woke up and saw that piece of shite is not worth it.
He is a liar and his investigating skills are crap.
Mr Tanner is a complete amateur and so is his team. They make Paranormal Research cheap and give true investigators a bad name.
If you need anything buy from Ghoststop who are excellent.
St Agustine Paranormal also great etc.
Avoid Paranormal Electronics as they are clowns.
If you watch what he says he is creating has already been created by professionals and made to brilliant finish.
Everything he sells is cheap and second hand.
Avoid Paranormal Electronic idiots and we should get everyone who has been scammed to start ruining their business and trolling everything they do.
I kept all my evidence if there is a court case in future.

I ordered a paraportal last october was told i would defiantly receive the item in december! I did not kept messaging to be told it would be ready then told they were waiting on parts to be then told in april they were refunding my payment! I eventually opened a paypal case and got my refund. I would not recommend paranormal electronics uk to anyone! -J
