One could say that this house has seen better days but it's exterior is in fairly good shape for the age of the building. I would say based on all the other homes in the area that it's at least a hundred years old. This area was settled in the early 1800s.
The steel roof doesn't look that old though... still... maybe 30-40 years? It is really hard to tell since galvanized roofs came to North America in 1857. They are so durable that most are guaranteed for 50 years minimum to a 100 Year life expectancy. There's no visible sign of rusting or aging so it's probably galvanized steel.
You can see on the front left of the house that a porch or verandah appears to have been removed. A doorway is visible, tucked in behind a bush, and the window has been boarded up. The wood boards of the structure are well preserved even with exposure after removal of the asphalt siding.
There is a first floor level window exposed on the north side (left) of the house, unfortunately like so many properties in the area this one is signed no trespassing. All of the other windows, except the upper window in what one may perceive as the livingroom, are boarded up. Interestingly the one on the second floor (front) has been boarded up from the inside.
